AIMS & OBJECTIVES
This
initiative was first launched on 14 January 2006 for two
reasons: As a means of educating and inviting visitors to
accept Islaam, and refuting the ever increasing global
spread of disinformation, misconceptions and distortions
against this most beautiful and balanced religion of Allaah.
Allaah has provided the
Muslims with the Truth. With this Truth has come the
responsibility of 'truth living' and dissemination of this
Truth to those unaware.
For the Muslims, knowledge of
Allaah, His last and final Messenger Muhammad (upon whom be
the peace and blessings of Allaah), and His religion, based
upon evidences, is the most important type of knowledge. As
this precious gift is assimilated, it must also be put into
practice and sincerely acted upon seeking only the pleasure
of Allaah and for no other reason. However, it does not end
there. Once it is assimilated and acted upon, the bearer
must thereafter jettison this load of responsibility by
inviting and calling the unaware and heedless to the
acceptance of this knowledge.
After fulfilling the
first two categories:
-
Acquiring Knowledge, as Allaah has ordered them with the
command:
"Have knowledge of Laa ilaaha illAllaah (None has
the right to be worshipped in Truth except Allaah)..."
(Qur'an 47:19).
-
Then,
acting upon this knowledge: "...and then seek the
forgiveness of Allaah" (Qur'an 47:19), by
putting the knowledge into practice and worshipping Him
only in the way He has instructed.
Muslims must propagate this Truth
and purpose of life by inviting their family, next of kin,
kith, neighbours, and everyone else, in fulfilment of the
command of their Lord:
"Invite to the way of your Lord with wisdom, and a
beautiful mode of preaching, and debate with them in the
ways that are best. Truly, your Lord knows best who has gone
astray from His path, and He is best aware of those who are
guided" (Qur'an 16:125).
Allaah has preferred the
active role of dissemination in opposition to the passive,
lethargic approach of many of the adherents of other
religions. Indeed, Allaah has warned the Muslims that they
will remain successful as long as they "enjoin all that is
good (as defined by Allaah, the all-Wise) and forbid all that
is evil (again as defined by Allaah, the all-Wise)"; and
it is in the fulfilment of this objective that a Muslim will be able to
literally prove
his/ her belief in Allaah. Without carrying out the enjoinment
of good and the forbiddance of evil, the Muslims will not be
successful, just as He says: "You are the best nation ever
raised up amongst mankind. (Why?) You enjoin all that is
good and you forbid all that is evil and (by doing this) you
believe in Allaah" (Qur'an 3:110).
As Muslims we believe that "the
only religion acceptable to Allaah is Islaam"
(Qur'an 3:19), and that "whoever follows a religion other
than Islaam, it will never be accepted from him and in the
hereafter he shall be from amongst the losers"
(Qur'an 3:85).
[1]
Hence, we have been instructed to invite mankind to this
singular truth, which is
the purpose behind the establishment of this website.
We want to acquire nothing
except the
pleasure of Allaah and seek only His Face as we endeavour to
call our Sikh friends to the Truth of Islaam. However, we
will do this based upon the Qur'anic criteria:
-
With Wisdom.
-
A beautiful mode of
preaching.
-
And to debate in the way
that is best.
Though we recognise that this
website may cause offence to those Sikhs unfamiliar with our
approach, we hope and pray that the above explanation has
briefly elucidated the motivation of the Muslim in calling
actively to this beautiful religion of justice.
Indeed, this life is a test
and those failing this test will face the consequences.
Those who accept the Truth when presented, then for them there
is guaranteed ease on the Day of Judgment when humankind
shall be resurrected and questioned about how they lived
life. But, as for those who arrogantly reject the Truth by falling victim to their ego
in choosing to follow their
vain desires and personalised views, for them will be a day
of severe hardship and eternal regret and sorrow.
You will die and you will face
your Lord for judgment very soon; and the difference between
acquiring His
Divine Pleasure and incurring His Divine Wrath and Just Punishment is a belief in and complete
acceptance of the most empowering concept given to humankind
(their purpose in life): encompassed by the testification of correct faith in Allaah:
LAA ILAAHA ILL-ALLAAH MUHAMMAD
AR-RASOOL ALLAAH
(I
bear witness and testify that) None has the right to be
worshipped in truth except Allaah (alone) and that none has
the right to followed in truth except Muhammad
the (last and final) Messenger of Allaah.

We ask Allaah to
accept our efforts, bless our actions and make them sincerely for Him alone,
to protect us from showing
off (ar-Riyyah) and the accursed Shaytaan,
and to help us
uphold patience. We ask Allah to guide our Sikh friends to the
religion of Truth, aameen. |
